Behind the wonderful stories and travel recommendations are two people passionate about everything new and old alike: Naomi and Violin.
A lover of history and archaeology and a lover of the latest technologies put their passions together and gave birth to a travel project they called – The Free Tourist.
Why Free Tourist?
Because to make the most of your vacation, you need to free yourself from clichés and common recommendations. More often than not, less trodden paths lead to places of stunning beauty.
The Free Tourist is for those who are always asking “why”, have an endless thirst for knowledge and love to explore. It’s for those who value history and culture and want to truly discover a tourist destination, not just pass through it.
We started writing about Dobrogea, the region where we live, and realized what a treasure we have right next to us. From 2020 until now we’ve been writing about towns, cities, beaches, sights, restaurants and hotels – all to give you the best information.
Now we’re writing about international destinations, but from the same inquisitive perspective that has motivated us so far.
How can the Free Tourist travel platform help you?
- As a tourist
Because as well as creativity, we also love logic and structure, so we’ve put all these elements into the way we’ve decided to present our holiday recommendations.
At the heart of our project is our Personalized Tours, which bring together ideas for places to visit, restaurants, cafes and even hotels if the itinerary is longer than one day.
In this way, we offer you a structured way to organize your holiday in the most popular destinations in Romania and abroad.
- See section Personalized tours and save your favorite itinerary!
- Discover the international version of the platform – UNBOUND Traveler!
In addition to personalized tours, you can discover special destinations, must-see attractions in a specific destination, recommendations of good restaurants or hotels worth staying in.
Create an account on turistulliber.co.uk and you have the possibility to save the ideas that caught your attention right in your account. Add them to your favorites and be sure you won’t miss any important tourist attractions!
Creating a free account also unlocks the possibility to get discount vouchers at restaurants or hotels in the places you visit.
