Smashy – Delicious burgers

Smashy is one of our recent stops. The location on Calea Călărași first drew us in, and then we went to the other location in town. Clear concept: smash burgers done right. Meat pressed on a hot griddle, slightly caramelized crust, juicy interior. Just what you look for when you want good burgers in Bucharest.

We tested the Smashy Cheeseburger and the Smashy Truffle Burger. The cheeseburger is well-balanced, with perfectly melted cheddar and well-dosed sauce. The truffle version has a more intense flavor, fine aroma and added personality. The burger is juicy, hearty and well constructed. And the cheddar and bacon fries are a must. Creamy with crispy bacon on top.

Side note: they also have crispy chicken for those who want extra texture and crunch.
